Frequently asked questions

What is LINJERUM?

LINJERUM is a Danish ticketing platform for events, concerts, theatres and festivals. Built in Aarhus, it handles everything from a single indie show to a multi-stage festival — including ticket sales, built-in seat plans, secure face-value resale, season passes, a queue system for high-demand events, and backstage tools for budget, shifts, tasks and run-sheets.

How much does it cost to sell tickets online?

LINJERUM costs 0 kr to start — no subscription, no setup fee, no monthly minimum. Paid tickets cost 3.5% + 5 kr per ticket sold, including payment processing. Free events are fully free at 0 kr per ticket. There are no contracts or termination fees.

How do I sell event tickets online in Denmark?

Use a Danish ticketing platform such as LINJERUM: create an account, set up your event in the dashboard, connect Stripe to receive payouts, and share the buy link. Most organizers go from signup to first ticket sold in under an hour. LINJERUM includes MobilePay, Apple Pay and Google Pay out of the box.

When do I get paid out as an organizer?

LINJERUM payouts run through Stripe and follow your Stripe account's payout schedule — typically rolling daily after a short initial holding period. You see every payment in real time in the LINJERUM dashboard, with a clear breakdown of fees and your net payout.

Which payment methods can buyers use?

Buyers on LINJERUM can pay with cards (Visa, MasterCard), Apple Pay, Google Pay, and MobilePay. Transactions can be in DKK, EUR or USD depending on your event settings. All payments are processed by Stripe, so the buyer experience is the same as on any modern Stripe-powered checkout.

Can I sell free tickets?

Yes. Free events on LINJERUM are fully free — 0 kr per ticket, no platform fee, no payment processing fee. You still get the full platform: a branded event page, attendee registration, ticket scanning, and a real attendee list. Useful for invite-only launches, community events, and meetups.

Can I create seat plans for theatres and concerts?

Yes. LINJERUM has a built-in seat plan editor that supports fan-shaped halls, multi-block stalls, balconies, and curved rows — designed for theatres, concert halls and intimate venues. General admission ("standing", "open seating") also works out of the box if you don't need assigned seats.

Can I embed ticket sales on my own website?

Yes. LINJERUM provides embeddable widgets: drop two lines of HTML into your site and buyers can pick tickets and pay without ever leaving your page — the whole purchase flow slides in as an overlay. You can also embed a small "next event" bar. Event details update live, no iframe rebuild needed.

Does LINJERUM require a contract or monthly subscription?

No. LINJERUM has no monthly subscription, no annual contract, and no termination fees. You only pay the per-ticket fee on paid tickets you actually sell — use LINJERUM for one event or a hundred. This is one of the main differences from traditional ticketing platforms that charge a monthly retainer.
